From Extensions to Crown Hair Couture
In 2015, we began as Straight To Hairven, a hair extension specialist. We designed and sourced our own extensions, supplying salons across Melbourne with top-quality hair. Our focus was on delivering the best in hair extensions, but a simple sample from a supplier changed everything. One day, we received a topper—a hairpiece that would unexpectedly lead us down a new path. This small piece sparked the beginning of Crown Hair Couture.
A Life Changing Moment
The turning point came when a salon using our extensions reached out. The stylist had seen the topper and knew it could help a client dealing with hair loss from trichotillomania. After customising the piece, we received a beautiful message from Jess, the client. She shared how the topper changed her life—giving her the confidence to go from hiding at the back of her lectures to sitting proudly at the front. This message was a revelation. We knew we had to do more to support women experiencing hair loss.
